External Storage for FTP Server:-
If you have an internet connection using FTP server. Then you can access the folders on your storage device remotely from anywhere. FTP Server: – Select to enable FTP server and you can make the contents available.
Internet access:-Select this option to allow access to the storage device with the help of a web browser.
FTP Port:- The default port will be work for most of the users. Advanced users may change to a different port to serve their needs.
External storage for folder access:-
With these settings, you can decide who can access to your external storage connected by USB to the modem or the router. Anyone can access all the content on your storage device when the status is disabled. In the enabled option you can specify who can see the content according to you.
External storage for Media server:-
A media server is one which lets you share across your network content on an attached external storage device. You can share media with the devices that are UPnP AV enabled for devices in your home. All the devices included such as media players gaming console and digital picture frames.
External storage for Account:-
This is the option which works when there are two user accounts preset for modem router which are as admin and guest on myrouter.local 192.168.1.1. The password for the admin here is the password which is used for router’s admin password. For the guest user, the password will be as “guest.” Selecting these options to give access accordingly to anyone for external storage usages here.
