If you are not able to access your router this all is just because of your router is not connected with your network on myrouter.local 192.168.1.1. To access your router you must be connected with your network. If currently, you have wireless internet access, then the problem here may be due to the reason that you are connected with another wireless network here. To overcome this situation you will need to change the wireless settings here. To change the settings here follow the instructions here below.
To fix the problem on the window system
- On the desktop of the window, computer right-clicks on the wireless icon from the system tray.
- Click on the option view available networks here. You will get a list of available networks.
- The search you own network name from the list and click on the connect option to connect with the network here.
- You will be prompted to a new window where you will have to enter the network key here. Type your password into the network key and confirm the network key by click on the option. After that click on the connect option.
Here are the steps which you have to follow for the settings on the MAC computers
- Across the top of the screen click on the wifi icon. A list of wireless networks will be available in the list.
- Click on the wireless network name of your Linksys E-series router here. The name of the router you can get from the list as this name is automatically assigned by the Linksys smart wifi.
- You will get a new window in which you will have to fill the password of the network on the page my router. local 192.168.1.1
- Type your password of the network and click on OK.
